Nur Fatihah Mustafa has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Zurich Takaful Malaysia Berhad (ZTMB), effective 4 June 2024, the company announced in an official statement on LinkedIn.
Mustafa’s appointment marks a historic milestone as she becomes the first woman to lead a takaful operator in Malaysia.
She brings over six years of experience at Zurich to her new role, having previously held leadership positions such as Head of Planning and Performance Management and FAR Controller – Family and General Takaful. Prior to her tenure at Zurich, she worked at HSBC Amanah Takaful (M) Berhad for over eight years.
“We look forward to her leadership and the positive impact it will bring to ZTMB and the industry as a whole,” Zurich Malaysia said in its announcement.
