Gallagher Re had made two key hires for its Life & Health team in Asia, with the global reinsurance broker announcing on LinkedIn that Sanjeeb Kumar has been appointed as Chairman of Life & Health for India and Addise Li has joined as Head of Life & Health Reinsurance for China and Hong Kong.
Kumar will be responsible for advancing Gallagher Re’s life and health reinsurance business in India and brings with him extensive industry experience, including his last role as Chief Executive Officer at Gen Re, India.
Li joins after three years with AXA XL, where he was Commercial & Client Management Head for Life & Health Reinsurance, China. Before that, he spent 11 years at Aon, including as Head of Life & Health Product Reinsurance Solutions for Greater China.
