Howden announced on Wednesday that Giles Haythornthwaite has relocated to Singapore to join the Howden Markets Asia team as an Associate Director.
Haythornthwaite brings extensive experience from his time in London to the new role, having spent seven years as a financial lines broker, placing business in Lloyd’s and the London Market, before joining Howden in 2022.
In its announcement on LinkedIn, Howden said Haythornthwaite and the HMA team will work closely with the business to support the “region’s placement strategy and deliver tangible insights to Howden Asia’s insurer partners.”
Haythornthwaite’s professional background includes roles at Miller between 2019 and 2022 and at Aon from 2017 to 2019. He also worked as an insurance broker at Bluefin Professions and prior to that was an outbound sales representative at Lockton.
