HSBC Life Hong Kong on Thursday (24 Oct) announced the appointment of Geoffrey Au as Chief Product and In-force Officer, effective from 25 October.
Au joins HSBC Life after a decade with Zurich, where he served most recently as Chief Executive Officer of Zurich Life Insurance Hong Kong.
In his new role role, Au reports directly to Daisy Tsang, who herself was elevated to the role of Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Life Hong Kong and Macau in July.
Au brings almost extensive industry experience to the role, having worked for businesses in the US, Hong Kong, and India, including in leadership roles at AEGON and Sun Life Financial.
Commenting on Au’s appointment, Tsang said, “We are pleased to welcome Geoffrey to our team. His expertise in product development will be crucial in maintaining our market leadership and delivering products that meet the needs of our customers.”
