Praveen Paladugu has been appointed as Oona Insurance’s new Group Head of Agency Distribution.
Paladugu joins the digital general insurer from FWD Insurance Indonesia, where he worked for over three years. There, he most recently worked as Chief of Distribution Strategy, focusing on distribution channel and agency network expansion.
Paladugu brings over two decades of leadership and industry experience to his new role, where he will be responsible for agency distribution channels in Indonesia and the Philippines.
Paladugu has held numerous leadership and senior roles in firms like Zurich Topas Life and Axa Financial in Indonesia and TATA AIA Life Insurance in India, according to LinkedIn.
Commenting on Paladugu’s appointment, Oona’s Founder and Group CEO Abhishek Bhatia said: “With Praveen at the helm of our agency distribution strategy… we are poised to redefine how insurance is distributed.
