WTW on Wednesday (Jan 22) announced the appointment of Tushar Gupta as Head of FINEX India, effective immediately. He takes on the new responsibilities in addition to his current position as Head of Financial Institutions for Southeast Asia and India within WTW’s Corporate Risk & Broking business.

In his new role, Gupta will work with the FINEX team in India and Asia to provide analytics and insurance solutions across lines of business such as professional liability, directors and officers, employer practices liability, cyber, and M&A-related insurances.

Speaking on the appointment, Vivek Nath, Head of India at WTW, said he was confident in Gupta’s ability to lead WTW’s FINEX business in India, adding he brings “deep industry experience and has been advising financial institutions across the private and public sectors on risk management and transfer strategies.”

Gupta joined WTW India in 2023 and has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. His previous roles include positions at Marsh, ICICI Lombard, HDFC Bank Ltd, and Tata Motors Finance Ltd.
