Janice Chau has been appointed as the Global Head of Life Product Development, Insurance at HSBC Life, the company has announced on LinkedIn.
Chau joins from AIA, where she served as the Actuarial Consultancy Lead at AIA for over two years. She will lead product strategy and development, with responsibility for advancing the company’s high-net-worth offerings, driving product diversification, and overseeing sustainability initiatives.
Based in Hong Kong, Chau brings over 15 years of experience in life insurance, covering product development, risk management, and asset liability management. She has also previously held senior and actuarial roles for firms in Hong Kong, including Sun Life and Manulife.
