AIG has announced the appointment of Ray Storan as its new Chief Operating Officer for the Asia Pacific region.
This move marks Storan’s return to Asia Pac following seven years in Ireland, most of which he served as Head of Operations at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance.
The appointment was confirmed via a LinkedIn announcement by Chris Colahan, Regional President for AIG, who said, “I am delighted to welcome Ray Storan to AIG as Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific. A seasoned operations executive and respected people leader, Ray has experience simplifying complex business processes with a keen customer focus.”
Colahan further highlighted the expected contribution of Storan’s expertise to the company’s ongoing development in the region, remarking, “As we continue driving operational excellence across the business, I am confident Ray’s expertise will position us well for the next phase of our transformation journey.”
