Vojtěch Pivný has been named as the new Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Allianz Asia Pacific, the business announced on Tuesday (1 July).
In a LinkedIn post, Allianz said Pivný brings extensive experience and expertise to this role, having held key roles across finance, capital management, and risk.
In January, he moved to Singapore as Deputy CFO for Asia Pacific. Prior to that, he was the CFO of Allianz Poland, where he led the acquisition of Aviva’s life and non-life insurance operations in Poland and Lithuania, including its pension and asset management businesses.
Pivný is expected to “leverage his extensive global experience in finance transformation to lead Allianz Asia Pacific’s financial strategy and operations, contributing to the region’s continued growth and success,” Allianz said in its announcement.
