Allianz Commercial has appointed Nagalaxmi Shetty as the head of Legal & Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer for its India Branch, CB Murali, the company’s CEO for India, announced on LinkedIn.
Shetty moves from Anand Rathi Insurance Brokers, where she has worked for almost three years, most recently serving as its Senior Vice President for Legal, Compliance, and Quality Assurance.
Shetty brings extensive industry experience and legal knowledge to her new role. She first entered the insurance industry in 2008, working as Assistant Manager Legal for ICICI Prudential and since she has worked for firms such as Star Union Dai-Ichi Life Insurance, RGA, and Future Generali India.
