Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific has appointed Yusuke Hata as Regional Head of Japan Desk for North Asia and Singapore, according to a LinkedIn announcement on 13 October.
Hata has been with the specialty trade credit insurer for over three years, most recently as a Sales Manager for its Japan team. He brings over a decade of insurance industry experience, with expertise in underwriting, business development, and account and broker management. Before joining Allianz Trade in 2022, he held roles at Aon and Fujitsu Limited.
Commenting on his appointment, Hata said he was “honoured to be stepping up to the role of Regional Head of Japan Desk” and looked forward to “supporting the dynamic markets of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, and Singapore.”
Hata’s promotion follows other key appointments announced by Allianz Trade in the APAC region last month, including Ly Dao as Vietnam Country Manager and Hassan Omaish as CEO for its Hong Kong hub.
