Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific has appointed Ly Dao as Country Manager for Vietnam, the trade credit insurer announced on LinkedIn on Monday.
She joins from Unity Willis Towers Watson, where she served as Head of Sales.
“With over 17 years of experience in the insurance industry, Ly has proven success in driving growth strategies, advising on risk management and servicing clients’ business needs,” Allianz Trade said in its announcement.
Dao’s appointment follows other recent leadership moves in the region, as Allianz Trade looks to strengthen its presence in APAC. This includes the appointment of Hassan Omaish as CEO for Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan operations earlier this month. Tetsushi Kitano was also appointed as Country Manager for Thailand in August.
