Guy Carpenter has appointed Andrew Hare as managing director and head of growth for Asia-Pacific.
Hare joins from fintech firm FIS, where he spent a year as head of insurance for Asia-Pacific. He has more than 20 years of industry experience across Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Australia, including three years at Moody’s as APAC managing director for insurance between 2022 and 2025. Prior to that, he spent 17 years at Aon, where he held positions including Asia head of Aon Inpoint and regional head of strategy and growth for Aon Re.
“Andrew brings strong commercial insight to our growth, client management and advisory work,” the reinsurance broker said. “He will drive APAC growth by strengthening senior client partnerships and accelerating strategic initiatives and investments in high-potential markets.
