Oneglobal Broking has announced that Andrew Ko has been appointed Executive Director for Hong Kong, effective as of 18 June 2024.

In his new role, he will oversee the growth and development of Oneglobal’s business in Hong Kong and Greater China, the broker said in a media release.

Ko brings 28 years of experience in insurance and broking, having spent 24 years in mainland China. He moved from Arthur J. Gallagher, where he had served as CEO of China since December 2021.

Prior, he held key positions at Willis Tower Watson China, including Deputy General Manager, TMT Industry leader, and Chief Broking Officer.

Sirikit Oh, CEO of Oneglobal Asia, commented on the appointment: “Greater China is a crucial market for Oneglobal and Andrew’s appointment reflects our dedication to our Asia growth strategy.

He is well-respected among business leaders in China and beyond, and his joining marks a significant milestone in our expansion efforts in the region. We are excited about the positive impact his appointment will have for our clients and partners.”

On his new role, Ko said, “I am thrilled to join the rapidly expanding Oneglobal team. I look forward to exploring every opportunity and delivering professional services across the Greater China Region.”
