Allianz Commercial has promoted Awa Ketty-Camara to regional head of multinational for Asia, effective 1 July 2026, the company announced in a media release.

Ketty-Camara currently serves as the firm’s head of multinational for Singapore, Korea and India. In the expanded leadership position, she will take on broader regional responsibilities across Asia, including oversight of multinational strategy and servicing for clients operating across markets.

She will report to Karol Dobias, global head of multinational, whose appointment was announced back in May. She also has a matrix reporting line to Christian Sandric, president for commercial, Asia Pacific.

Ketty-Camara brings over 17 years of international insurance experience. She also previously held underwriting roles for Aon France and AXA France.

She has also held multinational and operations governance roles within Allianz, working on transformation initiatives across Europe and Asia Pacific. Her experience includes work on strategic platforms, business requirements, operational processes, user acceptance testing and training frameworks in France, Madrid and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Her appointment follows recent leadership moves across Allianz Commercial’s APAC operations, including Masahide Naito as head of property and Amy Zhong as assistant manager, global business operations, both in Japan.
