Despite strong premiums growth, claims paid by Cambodian insurers increased 27% year-on-year to US$65.9m between January and August 2025, according to the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia.

The regulator noted that balanced risk-sharing with domestic reinsurers is vital to maintaining stability and supporting sustainable growth in Indonesia’s insurance industry.
