The deal will combine the groups’ international platforms into an enlarged network spanning more than 130 countries and managing over US$3.5bn in premiums.
Nearly one in three reported claims remained pending at the end of FY2025, with standalone health insurers outperforming general insurers on claim settlement ratios and speed.
