Marsh Risk Asia has appointed Didier Bélot as head of industry, the business announced in a LinkedIn post on Wednesday.
Bélot brings over 18 years of experience across global markets, including Zurich, London, New York, Beijing, India, Korea, and Southeast Asia.
He served at Swiss Re for more than 15 years, most recently in its corporate solutions arm as chief executive officer for Southeast Asia and chief executive for Swiss Re International SE’s Singapore branch.
Bélot’s appointment follows a series of key executive movements for Marsh in Asia-Pacific this year, including KT Koo’s promotion to CEO of Marsh Korea, Marcus Piristi as head of energy for Pacific, Noelene Palmer as Pacific COO, and the promotion of Jason Mandera to CEO of Marsh McLennan Indonesia.
