Raheja QBE welcomed Yogesh Gaur as zonal head for corporate sales, the Indian insurer announced in a LinkedIn post on Friday.
Gaur joins from Zurich Kotak General Insurance, where he was most recently vice president for commercial business. In his new role, he will spearhead commercial distribution across the North and East Zones of India.
Gaur brings over two decades of insurance industry experience, specialising in corporate sales, client engagement, and relationship management. His experience includes senior leadership roles at Liberty General Insurance and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd.
Gaur’s move follows several movements for the wider QBE group over the last month: Mandy Chan’s promotion to the expanded role of head of operational power generation and ESG for Asia and the appointments of Chai Guan Lim as head of distribution for Malaysia, Reuben Lee as transactional liability lead for Asia, and Soichiro Tanaka to QBE Re’s newly created role of head of Southeast Asia.
