Christine Wee joins Howden as Director of Regional Employee Benefits, Asia

Wee joins from Zurich to take on the new role.

Howden has named Christine Wee as its new Director of Regional Employee Benefits, Asia, the business announced on LinkedIn on Tuesday (8 July).

Wee joins from Zurich Singapore, where she most recently served as Project Lead from June 2024 to March 2025, following a brief stint at Cigna and earlier roles at Zurich.

With over 2 decades of experience in both Life and General insurance, Wee brings a “rich blend of technical expertise and market insight across local and regional APAC markets,” Howden said.

Her appointment follows a number of key appointments Howden has made in the region recently. These include the establishment of a reinsurance platform in Hong Kong with Roy Wong named MD; Edmund Arghand’s appointment as Head of Credit, Political Risk & Surety for Asia; and Hamish Ravindran moving into he role of Chief Client Officer for the region.
