Chubb Life Hong Kong has appointed Alex Wong as its new Chief Customer Proposition Officer, succeeding Wenyu Ji, who has been promoted as Head of Product for Greater China.
Before joining the life insurer, Wong spent nine years at Prudential as Chief Officer for Customer and Channel Solutions and Regional Director. He was also Manulife Malaysia’s Chief Financial Officer from 2011 to 2016.
“With 26 years of experience across Asia in product innovation and customer solutions, Alex is set to take the reins and bolster our commitment to exceptional service and growth in the insurance industry,” Chubb Life said in its LinkedIn post.
Ji has been with Chubb Life since 2021. In his new role, he will focus on product strategy and innovation across Hong Kong and Taiwan. His previous experience includes senior roles at WTW, Deloitte UK, and the Reinsurance Group of America.
“His guidance has been vital in providing customised solutions that truly meet our customers’ evolving needs,” Chubb Life said, commenting on Ji’s promotion.
Earlier in April, Chubb Insurance Hong Kong also announced key leadership promotions: Patrick Wong to Head of Global Client Executive, Queency Chau as Head of Major Accounts Division, and Barry Yu as Head of Marine.
