Alan Chiew has joined Chubb as Chief Information Officer for Asia Pacific, the global insurer announced in a company statement on LinkedIn.
Chiew joins the insurer after six years with Standard Chartered Bank, where he was serving as Global Head of Technology for Digital Channels.
“With an impressive background in developing digital products and solutions that support strategic business priorities, Alan will play a key role in our ongoing efforts to strengthen and create innovative solutions for our partners and clients,” Chubb said in its announcement.
Before his tenure at Standard Chartered Bank, Chiew developed his industry experience at Lloyds Banking Group in the United Kingdom, including as Head of Digital Delivery and Head of Mobile Delivery. He has also worked as a Management Consultant at Deloitte in Australia and New Zealand and, prior, as a Full Stack Developer at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in New Zealand.
