Delta Insurance has announced the appointment of Joleene Dawson as its new Group Head of Underwriting.
In her new role, Sydney-based Dawson will focus on developing and implementing underwriting practices, performance monitoring, and supporting product innovation, Delta said in an announcement, adding that “she does all that with a cheerful, personable approach which makes every day a rewarding experience for herself and her colleagues.”
She brings extensive experience to the position, having worked in the insurance industry for over two decades.
Before joining Delta Insurance, she worked at Chubb for 14 years, most recently as Property & Casualty Underwriting Operations Manager, ANZ. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Axis Capital, QBE, and AIG.
