Howden Re appointed Emily Lo as Head of Analytics for Asia, the global brokerage announced in a statement on LinkedIn.
Hong Kong-based Lo joins the company from AXA, where she worked for nearly a decade across pricing, product management & reinsurance functions and most recently as GI Pricing & Product Development Director.

Lo is an Australian qualified actuary with significant (re)insurance experience across Asia Pacific. Prior to AXA, she was Costing Head at Swiss Re, providing pricing expertise to China, Southeast Asia, and India. Her previous experience includes time at Vero and QBE, based in Sydney.
Her expertise spans pricing, reserving, product development, and capital and reinsurance management for both retail and commercial lines of business. In addition to traditional pricing, Lo has been involved in structured reinsurance and telematics initiatives, Howden said, adding that she has also explored the use of external big data in product design and premium setting.
