Sedgwick has announced the appointment of Erwin Yu as Director Service Hub, Third Party Administration (TPA) operations in Malaysia. He joins the global loss adjuster following a 3-year tenure with Crawford & Co, where he was most recently Director for Market Development Asia.
In an announcement, Sedgwick said that Yu will be responsible for local operations, with a focus on enhancing claims management and operational initiatives that benefit insurers and corporations. His responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, helping to improve the customer experience, overseeing the customer service team’s performance, and developing strategic procedures to boost productivity and service effectiveness.

Yu has over 21 years of experience in claims, market development, customer service, operations, and strategic planning for large insurers, with extensive expertise across a diverse range of business lines in Asia.
