Global Asia Insurance Partnership (GAIP) has appointed Leona Leong as director of fundraising and partnerships and Xuejun Li as associate director, according to a LinkedIn announcement on 2 December.
Leong joins GAIP after more than two years at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where she served as assistant director. She will lead the organisation’s fundraising strategy and engagement with industry and philanthropic partners across Asia.
She brings over 15 years of experience spanning social entrepreneurship, business development, and international fundraising, including previous roles at Animals Asia and the YMCA of Singapore, as well as earlier banking and finance roles at UOB, IFS Capital, and Standard Chartered.
Meanwhile, Li, who relocated to Singapore from Brisbane, joins GAIP from Quantum, where she was a senior consultant for over four years.
She brings four years of corporate insurance experience, having worked as an actuarial analyst at RACQ and in analytical roles at Australia’s National Health and Medical Research Council and the National Disability Insurance Agency.
The announcement follows another leadership appointment made by the company last month, when GAIP appointed Ashby Tai as associate director.
