Gallagher Re has announced two appointments for its Analytics team in Asia Pacific, with Hemant Nagpal taking up the role of Head of Analytics, APAC and Darren Murch as Deputy Head of Analytics for the region, both effective from January 2025.
Nagpal has been with Gallagher Re for three years, most recently serving as Head of Catastrophe Analytics, Asia Pacific. He brings nearly 25 years of experience to the role and prior to Gallagher Re worked at businesses including Moody’s, Aon, and Guy Carpenter.
Murch, meanwhile, has been with Gallagher Re for over 13 years, with his most recent role being Regional Director and covering several positions for operations in Malaysia, Singapore and United Kingdom. He initially joined the company in 2009 as an Actuarial Analyst (then Willis Re, prior to its acquisition).
