Gallagher Re has strengthened its Agriculture Specialty team in India with the addition of two new members, Naveen Sharma and Cherukumalli Kiroj Kumar, according to a statement on LinkedIn by Vinod Krishnan, Gallagher Re India’s Head of Reinsurance.
Sharma joins Gallagher Re from the Agriculture Insurance Company of India, where he spent two years. His prior experience includes senior roles at Hero Insurance Broking and Universal Sompo General Insurance. Kumar arrives at Gallagher Re from Skynet Weather Services, where he was involved in agriculture claims management.
In his statement, Krishnan welcomed both team members to the Gallagher team, commenting, “We are delighted to welcome 2 new members to Gallagher Re’s Agriculture Specialty in India. Together they shall reinforce Gallagher Re’s commitment to delivering the best Advisory, Analytics and Broking capabilities to our Clients and Markets in the region.”
