Great Eastern has appointed Kwek-Perroy Li Choo in the newly created role of Managing Director, Group Integrated Propositions and Platforms, effective September 15, 2025, the insurer announced on LinkedIn on Friday.

Li Choo joins from Zurich Insurance, where she served as Global Head of Life Strategy, developing the company’s life insurance strategy across global markets, including EMEA, the US, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. She has also held senior leadership positions at AXA Group and Manulife in Asia-Pacific and Europe.

“I am delighted to welcome Li Choo to the leadership team, said Greg Hingston, Group Chief Executive Officer of Great Eastern. “With Li Choo’s leadership, I am confident in our ability to build a deeper understanding of our customers and design integrated propositions that address their evolving needs, enabled by seamless digital and service platforms.”

In her new role, Li Choo will lead teams handling customer segments and experience, product development, digital platforms, brand, marketing and communications across the Great Eastern Group. Reporting directly to Group Chief Executive Officer Greg Hingston, she will also drive customer-focused strategy and develop integrated solutions.

Li Choo said it was an “extraordinary privilege” and a “personal milestone” to return to where her career began.
