Guillaume Mirabaud has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AXA Thailand General Insurance, effective 1 June 2024, the company announced in a statement on LinkedIn.
Mirabaud joins from AXA Korea, where he served as Chief Executive Officer since 2021 and Chief Financial Officer from 2019 to 2021. During his tenure at AXA Korea, he implemented effective people, technology, and distribution strategies to position the company for expansion, the company said in its announcement.
Before his time at AXA Korea, Mirabaud held several senior leadership positions, including CEO of AXA Algeria Life and Deputy CEO and CFO of AXA Algeria.
Filling the role of CEO at AXA Korea is Hans Vraken, President and CEO of AXA Direct Japan between 2017 and 2021, a move that was also announced this week.
