Howden Asia has appointed Jamie Wan as senior director for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), the company announced on LinkedIn on 27 January.

Based in Singapore, Wan is the latest hire to join from Aon, where she most recently served as the head of Transaction Advisory Service, AMATS, Asia. She also previously worked for companies such as Marsh and Tokio Marine Insurance Singapore.

“Jamie brings a wealth of specialised experience in M&A insurance, having spent many years navigating the complexities of the regional market. Her deep technical expertise and strategic approach to risk will be invaluable as we continue to provide bespoke solutions for our clients’ most complex deals,” the company said in its announcement.

The announcement follows other recent additions to Howden Asia’s M&A team, including Adrian Chai and Jianhua Chen as directors, Rosy Wang as associate director, and Janice Jiang as an associate.
