ILS investment manager Leadenhall hires Yuko Hoshino as Senior MD, Japan and Asia

Investment veteran Yuko Hoshino appointed to drive growth in Asia's insurance-linked securities market.

Leadenhall Capital Partners (LCP), an investment manager in non-life, life, and alternative credit insurance-linked strategies, has appointed Yuko Hoshino as Senior Managing Director for Japan and Asia.

She will report directly to Lorenzo Volpi, Managing Partner and Deputy CEO of LCP, and will be responsible for business development and advancing investment strategies, including ILS, for institutional clients throughout Asia.

Lorenzo Volpi expressed his enthusiasm about the new hire, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Yuko, who brings more than two decades of experience providing investor clients with advisory on both traditional and alternative investments. Prior to joining LCP, Hoshino was with Securis Investment Partners LLP, where she served as Partner and Head of Japan/Asia. Her career also includes roles at Credit Suisse First Boston in London and Credit Suisse Securities in Tokyo, where she focused on insurance-linked strategies, structured credit, and fixed income alternatives.
