Online insurance broker Rabbit Care has officially launched its operations in Vietnam, marking an important step in its efforts to expand its presence in Southeast Asia.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer Michael Steibl took to LinkedIn to announce the business had successfully entered the Vietnamese market and begun partnering with insurance providers. The Thailand-headquartered insurtech is looking to extend its offering to Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, and other countries by 2025.

Rabbit Care offers a range of insurance products through its online platforms, including motor, health, life, and commercial insurance. According to its website, the company has 4 million customers, generating US$100m in insurance premiums, and collaborates with at least 24 General Insurance and 12 Life insurance partners.
