Josephine Tam has joined Allianz Commercial Asia as Regional Head of Financial Lines & Cyber, the business announced in a statement.
Based in Singapore, Tam moved to Allianz after working for over a year at Aon Singapore as Regional Director for cyber and financial institutions where she provided technical support for the Asia region in cyber, tech errors and omissions, professional indemnity, and related product lines.
In her new role, Tam reports to Christian Sandric, Regional Managing Director for Allianz Commercial Asia, with a matrix reporting line to Jarrod Schlesinger, Global Head of Financial Lines & Cyber.
She is responsible for steering and controlling the regional financial lines and cyber portfolio, including driving financial targets, underwriting discipline, product development, and relationship management, Allianz said, adding that she will also contribute to developing Allianz Commercial’s global line of business strategy.
Tam brings over 20 years of global experience in the insurance industry. She has worked in senior underwriting, broking, and leadership roles across Singapore, the UK, and the US. Earlier in her career, Tam held senior positions at companies like Chubb, AXIS Capital, and CFC Underwriting.
