Keiichi Ishida has been appointed as Everest Insurance’s new Head of Japan, the company’s Asia Head of Insurance, Tomi Latva-Kiskola, announced on LinkedIn. 

Based in Singapore, Ishida joins Everest after working seven years with Zurich Insurance, where he was part of the firm’s Japan desk.  

With expertise in Property underwriting, Ishida will bring 19 years of industry experience to his new assignment. He has worked for numerous insurers and reinsurers, including AIG, EQE International, HDI Global, and Swiss Re.

“I am pleased to welcome Keiichi Ishida to the team as the Head of Japan. Ishida-san will lead the Japan desk from Singapore bringing the best of Everest Insurance to the Japan market…This is an exciting milestone for us as our Asia expansion rolls on as planned,” said Latva-Kiskola in the announcement.
