KRM Reinsurance Brokers Philippines on Monday announced several key leadership appointments, with Isagani Acosta Jr. appointed as President and CEO, Jared Uichico as Chief Commercial Officer, and Hannelli Oasan as Chief Financial Officer. 

Acosta brings over 20 years of experience in insurance and risk management. He was previously part of the Board of Directors at Marsh Philippines, where he also served as Senior Vice President and Head of Risk Management for Corporate, Commercial, Affinity, and Multinational. He has also previously served as President of the Association of Insurance Brokers of the Philippines (AIBP). 

Uichico joins KBM from Manulife Philippines, where he worked for over three years, most recently as Vice President and Head of Partnership Distribution, Corporate Solutions, and Bancassurance Strategy. He has gained experience and expertise working for financial firms across Asia and in the U.S., including Citi and MetLife, according to LinkedIn. 

Oasan moves to KBM following a 6-year stint with Pacific Cross, most recently as its CFO, and a 13-year stint with Chubb Philippines as VP and CFO. She is equipped with long insurance industry experience and expertise in enterprise risk management, risk management, auditing, and Property & Casualty insurance, according to LinkedIn. 

“I am eager to lead KRM towards continued growth and success,” Acosta said on his new role. “Together, we will embark on a new journey, working with world-class leaders, a talented team, and valued partners to achieve our shared goals,” he added. 

Alongside the announcement of the new leadership team, KBM also announced they are the only reinsurance broker in the Philippines that has surpassed 100m pesos in terms of commission revenue in 2023, according to data from the Insurance Commission. Additionally, the broker is only one of three in the country that surpassed 1bn pesos in premiums
