Lena Liu has joined Sompo as Vice President and APAC Hub Leader for its Multinational Insurance Team, the company announced on LinkedIn
Based in Hong Kong, Liu moves to Sompo after over 14 years with Zurich Insurance, most recently serving as its Head of Middle-Market and International Programs. Prior to this, Liu also worked for ACE/Huatai Insurance and Special Risks Unit in Beijing, according to LinkedIn.
In her new role, Liu brings over two decades of industry experience, particularly in underwriting and operations, including expertise gained in handling underwriting governance, developing frameworks for captive programmes, and improving client service.
