Lockton has hired Faith Swee into its transaction liability Asia-Pacific practice as a vice president, based in Singapore, according to a LinkedIn post on Tuesday.
Swee joins the broker after more than five years with BMS Group, where she most recently served as an associate director. She also worked as a senior associate with Aon earlier in her career.
“Faith joins us with over six years of experience in M&A insurance broking, advising international clients on tailored solutions for complex transactions, with a particular focus on secondaries,” the company said in its announcement.
Swee is the latest hire for Lockton’s transactional lines build-out in Asia-Pacific, following the broker’s recent appointment of Jamie He as a senior vice president in the transaction liability team, focused on North Asia, which was announced yesterday.
The moves come as Asia’s transactional risk market has attracted fresh capacity over the past 18 months, while claims activity continues to mature. Terrence Montgomery, Lockton’s Asia-Pacific head of M&A transaction liability, has said the region’s varied regulatory and deal-making environments are sustaining an “ongoing need for experienced, resilient and client-focused underwriting teams in the region.”
