Lockton India has appointed Anand Kaul as Managing Director, Transactional Lines, the business announced in a statement.

Kaul brings 17 years of experience in insurance broking, with over a decade focused on transactional liability solutions. Before joining Lockton, Kaul led transaction liability teams at Aon and JLT, developing risk transfer solutions for complex deals.

In his new position, Kaul will lead Lockton India’s transactional liability practice focusing on delivering customised risk solutions for mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and other complex transactions.

“Anand brings extensive experience and expertise in transaction liability, a critical area for businesses navigating complex deals,” Sandeep Dadia, CEO & Country Head of Lockton India, said. “His leadership will further strengthen Lockton India’s capabilities in structuring innovative risk transfer solutions.”

Lockton entered the Indian market in early 2024, marking its largest investment in the Asia region so far.
