Lockton names Subhash Chandra as head of life and health reinsurance in Asia people solutions team

He brings over 18 years of industry experience across Asia, with previous stints at Pacific Life Re, Aon, Mercer, and Munich Re.

Lockton has appointed Subhash Chandra as head of life and health reinsurance – people solutions for Asia, effective 9 February 2026, the business announced in a statement on Monday.

Chandra joins the global broker from Pacific Life Re, where he most recently served as principal consultant, client solutions and protection, Asia.

He brings more than 18 years of experience in life and health reinsurance across Asia, having held senior positions in both broking and reinsurance, including stints at Aon Reinsurance Solutions, Mercer, and Munich Re, and advised insurers and reinsurers on risk and portfolio strategies.

Based in Singapore, he now reports to Cedric Luah, head of people solutions for Asia and, in his new role, Chandra will work closely with Lockton’s placement teams and lead the development of the business’s life and health reinsurance capabilities across Asia.

“[Chandra’s] addition to the people solutions, Asia, business will help expand our capabilities, drive product innovation, and accelerate our growth trajectory,” Lockton said in its statement.

Chandra’s move to Lockton follows recent appointments by Lockton in Asia, including last month’s appointment of Li Lin Kea as head of cargo and logistics, regional transportation and the promotion of Cindy Khoo to head of marine and offshore, regional transportation.
