Marsh Australia and New Zealand has appointed David Walker as Energy and Power Risk Engineer, Australia, the company announced on LinkedIn on Monday, September 15.

Walker joins from Zurich Insurance where he spent over seven years as Principal Risk Engineer, managing key global and regional accounts across power generation, chemical, and molten metal industries. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in the energy and power sector.

Walker will be based in Sydney and will focus on delivering risk engineering expertise for energy and power industry clients across the Pacific region.

The appointment comes after Marsh named Damian Schinck as President of its Pacific operations, with both hires strengthening the company’s leadership and specialist capabilities across Australia and New Zealand.
