Marsh has promoted Guy Bessis to Chairman of Energy and Power for India, Middle East and Africa, the company announced on LinkedIn on 8 November.
Based in the UAE, Bessis has been with the company for over 17 years. He brings extensive industry experience, most recently serving as the company’s Global Head of Sales for Energy and Power.
The appointment follows a series of recent regional leadership changes at Marsh and Marsh McLennan over the past month, including Andrea Bono as CEO for Marsh McLennan India, Middle East, and Africa; Kumaren Gnanangurunathan as Power Risk Engineer for Marsh Asia; and Steven Cakaric as Head of Sales for Marsh Pacific.
