Marsh has appointed Ross Hoy as Renewable Energy Leader for the Pacific region, the company announced in a LinkedIn update on Thursday.
Hoy, who joined Marsh in 2021, has over 12 years of experience in the insurance industry and has specialised in renewable energy for the past decade.
“His extensive experience includes working closely with global industry developers to provide innovative insurance solutions and guide clients through the complexities of the renewable energy sector,” Marsh said.
Speaking on his appointment, Hoy said he was thrilled to be taking on the new role, adding, “Along with our extensive experience in renewables, I’m committed to leading with a client-centric approach and look forward to partnering with our clients to tackle the complexities of this sector and help them achieve their decarbonisation goals.”
Before joining Marsh, Hoy worked briefly at Gallagher and spent over seven years at Aon.
