MS Amlin Asia-Pacific has hired Joyceline Tay and Hung Wei Ng as senior claims specialists as it continues to strengthen its reinsurance claims capability across the region, the business announced on LinkedIn on Friday.
Tay and Hung bring extensive regional claims expertise, significant experience handling major loss events, and strong capabilities in client service and process improvement, according to the global specialty (re)insurer.
Commenting on the appointments, William Ho, chief executive officer of MS Amlin Asia-Pacific, said: “These appointments reflect our commitment to building a team that can deliver first-class claims service — regardless of the complexity or location of a loss — and support our underwriting team and clients at every stage.”
Mary Weston, head of reinsurance claims at MS Amlin Asia Pacific, added: “Building a high-performing claims team in APAC has been a priority for us, and Joyceline and Hung Wei are exactly the kind of experienced, driven professionals we were looking for.”
The dual hires follow MS Amlin’s launch of a Lloyd’s-backed property treaty per-risk consortium and creation of sub-syndicate s1673 over the last month.
