MSIG Singapore has hired Jerry Pai as Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Distribution, the business announced in an update on LinkedIn.
Pai brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including insurance, and moves after five years with wealth management firm St James’s Place, where he worked across London and Singapore.
“Jerry brings a wealth of expertise in driving business growth and transformation,” MSIG said, adding that in prior roles he has successfully “expanded regional businesses by deepening distributor relationships, entering new markets and forging strategic partnerships.”
Prior to working at St James’s Place, Pai served at RSA Insurance in the UK, where he led initiatives to improve underwriting and streamline operations in lines of business, including Marine, Engineering, and Accident & Health.
Pai’s appointment follows MSIG Singapore’s March announcement that it had appointed Darren Say as Head of Brokers Business Development.
