Newline Asia appoints Simon Moi as Chief Underwriting Officer

Specialty insurer Newline Asia announced in a company post on LinkedIn that it has appointed Simon Moi as its new Chief Underwriting Officer.

Singapore-based Moi joins from Markel, where he served for nearly 15 years, most recently as the Head of Professional and Financial Risks. Prior to his tenure at Markel, Moi developed his expertise with Chubb and Gen Re.

In its announcement, Newline commented, “Simon joins us with 20 years of financial lines and casualty underwriting experience in the Asia Pacific region. His knowledge and expertise will be an asset as Newline Asia continues to grow within the market.
