Hong Kong-headquartered virtual insurer OneDegree has announced the appointment of Courtney Lau as its new Head of Growth. 

In her new role, Lau will oversee the customer journey from digital distribution to retention, identify strategies to enhance product engagement, and grow customer lifetime value, OneDegree said in an announcement. 

Lau brings over a decade of digital marketing and e-commerce experience to her new role, including at 4As Media, an advertising agency, and Dyson, where she was instrumental in driving the direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce business and enhancing the owner experience in both Hong Kong and Taiwan markets, OneDegree said.

Emily Chow, Deputy Chief Executive of OneDegree, commented “With Courtney’s enthusiasm and expertise in eCommerce and digital, she will help continuously accelerating OneDegree’s digital innovations and scaling our business.”
