Patrick Fyson has been appointed as Canopius’s new Head of Property Direct & Facultative (D&F) for the APAC and MENA regions.
In a LinkedIn announcement, the speciality (re)insurer said Fyson will lead the D&F team as it grows its presence and scale across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa.
Fyson, who is based in Singapore, joined Canopius Asia after nearly a decade at Tokio Marine Kiln. In his most recent role at Tokio Marine Kiln’s Singapore office, he served as Underwriter for International Property D&F. Prior to his move to Singapore in 2019, Fyson worked in various property underwriting roles at Tokio Marine Kiln’s London office.
