The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has announced that Tara Page, Chief Executive of RAA Insurance, will join its Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Page will bring extensive experience to the ICA board, having held a number of high-level positions across insurance and law, including Chief Governance and Risk Officer and Company Secretary for RAA Group prior to her current role. Before joining RAA, she was a partner at a national law firm, where she specialised in corporate law, financial services, and mergers and acquisitions.
Nick Hawkins, President of the ICA, commented on the Board appointment, “Tara’s local knowledge and demonstrated commitment to community engagement will be a welcome addition to the Board as we look to navigate the challenges of insurance affordability, risk mitigation and regulatory changes ahead for the insurance industry.”
