Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) on Wednesday announced the promotion of Alissa Holz to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for RGA Australia and New Zealand, effective 1 April 2025.
Holz has been with the business since 2006 and has served as Deputy CEO since April 2023. As part of her new role she also joins the RGA Australia Board.
Speaking on the selection, Arthur Ozeki, Executive Vice President and Head of Asia Pacific, said, “Alissa’s deep industry knowledge, strategic vision, and proven leadership skills make her the ideal person to spearhead our efforts in the market and deliver exceptional value to our clients and stakeholders.”
This appointment coincides with Mark Stewart’s transition from his current role as Managing Director of RGA Australia & New Zealand to broader Asia Pacific responsibilities as Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary for APAC.
Stewart’s new duties will include oversight of RGA India and Regional Underwriting, Medical, and Claims, alongside his existing responsibilities in Regional Pricing, Risk Management, and Valuation.
